Bath Rugby player ratings from Edinburgh win - ‘A world class Test match animal’

Bath Rugby prevailed over a formidable Edinburgh side with a 39-24 victory on the Scottish side’s home ground in the semi-final of the EPCR Challenge Cup. This triumph keeps the English club’s aspirations of a treble alive.

Bath’s path to the final was paved in part by an impressive performance from the bench. The first half saw chaotic play from both teams, resulting in missed opportunities. Bath managed two tries through Sam Underhill and Tom Dunn. Edinburgh’s quick thinking led to a try by Mosese Tuipulotu.

The hosts scored immediately after the break with a penalty try, aided by Tom de Glanville’s yellow card, but Bath swiftly regained the lead. Dunn secured his brace, and Alfie Barbeary also added to the scoreline. While Ali Price scored a try for the hosts, two late tries from Niall Annett and Guy Pepper cemented Bath’s place in the final.
