Bath Rugby finish pre-season with dominant victory over Glasgow Warriors

Bath Rugby concluded their pre-season preparations with an emphatic 53-5 win against a youthful Glasgow Warriors side at Old Anniesland. The visitors, bolstered by the return of several internationals including Finn Russell, established control early on to build a 22-0 lead by half-time.

Bath’s first half saw tries from Bernard van der Linde and Joe Cokanasiga, complemented by a brace from Santi Carreras. The team displayed robust defence and effective ball handling, forcing Glasgow into multiple errors in testing weather conditions.

Despite rotating their squad in the second half, Bath continued to dominate. Cam Redpath registered two tries, Bernard van der Linde secured his second, while Ollie Lawrence and Claudius Wheeler also crossed the try line. Glasgow mustered a solitary try through Alex Bryden, but the visitors maintained their superiority throughout.
