Bath Rugby has unveiled plans for at least three pre-season fixtures as they prepare for the 2025/26 season, which kicks off in late September.
The newly reformed Worcester Warriors will host Bath at Sixways Stadium on either Friday, September 19 or Saturday, September 20. This match marks the strengthening of a fresh partnership between the two clubs. As part of this collaboration, Bath players on the fringes of the first team are expected to gain valuable game time on loan at Worcester, which will compete next season in the newly rebranded Championship Rugby, England’s second tier.
Worcester are eager to build squad cohesion during pre-season following the assembly of an entirely new player group this summer. The Warriors’ previous roster disbanded when the club went into administration in September 2022. Bath capitalized on this by acquiring two of Worcester’s top talents, flanker Ted Hill and centre Ollie Lawrence.

Additionally, Bath will travel to Ireland on September 12 to play Munster, the reigning Gallagher Premiership champions, in a pre-season match held in Cork with a 7pm kickoff.
Bath is also set to host a pre-season game at their home ground, the Recreation Ground, against United Rugby Championship side Glasgow Warriors on the weekend of September 6. The exact date and kick-off time are still to be confirmed.
The competitive season will kick off with two Premiership Rugby Cup games before the Gallagher Premiership officially begins. League fixtures for the upcoming season will be announced on July 23.
