Bath Rugby have revealed their senior squad for the 2025/26 season, fielding a robust group of 42 players as head coach Johann van Graan aims to build on last season’s remarkable success. The Blue, Black, and White ended the 2024/25 campaign triumphantly, securing the Gallagher Premiership title along with the EPCR Challenge Cup and Premiership Rugby Cup. With these achievements, Bath enters the new season as strong contenders to defend their domestic crown and make a significant impact in the Investec Champions Cup after a disappointing group stage exit last year.
Van Graan has bolstered the squad with five key signings: Henry Arundell from Racing 92, Dan Frost from Exeter Chiefs, Chris Harris and Santi Carreras from Gloucester Rugby, and Bernard van der Linde from the Blue Bulls. Additionally, Bath have secured the return of 26-year-old tighthead prop Kieran Verden, reinforcing their front row options for the season.
The club has also promoted Enoch Opoku-Gyamfi, a towering Italian U20 lock, to the senior academy following his successful scholarship at the University of Bath.

At the season launch held at The Rec, van Graan reflected on the team’s journey: “Season one was about becoming tough to beat, season two was all in all of the time, and season three was about getting better. This year is about having the courage to start again. Expectations are high, but we embrace them. Courage means replicating last year’s success by being tough to beat and consistent throughout.”
