The beloved Lamb and Lion pub in central Bath has reopened this November following an extensive six-figure refurbishment. Refreshed and revitalized, the pub boasts a stylish new look with four large HD screens, a boosted capacity now welcoming 46 guests, and exclusive bookable booths equipped with their own screens.
Sport enthusiasts will be delighted by the upgraded entertainment options. The Lamb and Lion is set to show all major sporting events via four Sky Q boxes, featuring channels like Sky Sports, TNT Sports, and Premier Sports. This reopening has also created three new jobs, strengthening the local economy.

To celebrate the reopening, the pub is hosting a ‘Minute to Win It’ competition on Saturday, November 15, coinciding with the England vs. New Zealand rugby match. For a £5 entry, participants guess two winning minutes during which a try or conversion might be scored. Winners walk away with an England rugby shirt, and even the losers walk out with a free drink.
December brings more excitement with a charity raffle featuring shirts from Bath Rugby, Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal. Proceeds from the raffle will support the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
Guests can also enjoy weekly events such as Monday Bingo Night, Tuesday Games Night, and student socials on Wednesdays and Thursdays with exclusive student discounts through the MiXR app. ‘Funky Fridays’ offer a lively vibe with a range of nostalgic nineties and noughties cocktails. Sporting events will continue throughout the weekends, alongside Sunday roast dinners that add to the weekend warmth.
The Lamb and Lion is open daily at 15 Lower Borough Walls, from 11am to 11pm Monday through Saturday, and noon to 11pm on Sundays. Food service runs until 8pm on weekdays and Saturdays, and until 6pm on Sundays.
