Bath City’s fixtures for the upcoming Southern Premier South season have been confirmed, with their first match scheduled away against Sholing on Saturday, August 8th, kicking off at 3:00 PM. This marks the Romans' first league encounter with the Boatmen, setting the tone for an exciting campaign.
Under manager Paul Doswell, Bath City narrowly missed out on the play-offs last season, finishing just one place and three points shy—their highest-ever league finish in three Step 3 seasons. The 2025-26 season promises fresh challenges and thrilling encounters, including a series of eagerly awaited local derbies.
Following their opener, Bath City host Plymouth Parkway on Tuesday, August 11th, at 7:45 PM, before concluding August with a trip to Frome Town on Bank Holiday Monday, August 31st. The local derbies against Chippenham Town will be key highlights; the first takes place at Cannon Clarke Stadium at Twerton Park on September 12th, with the return fixture at Chippenham set for November 28th.

Boxing Day sees Bath travel to nearby Yate Town, and the new year kicks off on January 2nd with a home game against Frome Town. Though Bath City will have four fewer league games compared to last season, early cup commitments will keep the fixture list packed. Seven Tuesday night matches are scheduled from August 11th through November 10th, culminating in a Somerset derby against Taunton Town at home.
Bath City begin the season on the road for the fourth consecutive year. Their only previous match with Sholing was a memorable 2-0 FA Trophy victory at Twerton Park in December 2019, with Ryan Brunt scoring. Brunt, now the Player Director of Football at Malvern Town after coming out of retirement, could face Bath City twice in the league’s opening 15 matches as Malvern, newly promoted, are the only team Bath will meet twice this season.
The campaign will wrap up on April 17th, 2027, with an away fixture against Chertsey Town, while the last home game will be played a week earlier against Bracknell Town. Both clubs have only previously met Bath City in the FA Trophy.
If Bath City secure a finish between second and seventh in the league, they will qualify for the play-offs, scheduled between April 20th and May 4th.
The full fixture list features a mix of league and cup matches, ensuring a challenging and eventful season for Bath City and their supporters.
