Bath City Southern Premier South Fixtures Announced for 2025-26 Season

Bath City’s fixture list for the 2025-26 Southern Premier South season has been confirmed, with the Romans set to begin their campaign on the road against Sholing. The opening match takes place on Saturday, August 8th, with kick-off scheduled for 3:00 PM.

Following a historic third-place finish last season—just missing the play-offs by three points under Paul Doswell—Bath City aims to build on its strongest Step 3 performance to date. Their early games include a home fixture against Plymouth Parkway on Tuesday, August 11th at 7:45 PM, and a Bank Holiday Monday trip to Frome Town on August 31st.

Local anticipation is high for the derbies against Chippenham Town, with the first clash at Bath’s Cannon Clarke Stadium on September 12th and the return fixture at Chippenham on November 28th. On Boxing Day, the team travels to Yate Town before welcoming Frome Town again on January 2nd.

Although the league schedule features four fewer matches compared to last season, Bath City faces a packed early calendar due to cup commitments, with seven Tuesday night games between August 11th and November 10th. This period culminates in a Somerset derby at home against Taunton Town.

Interestingly, Bath City will start away from home for the fourth straight season. Their previous encounter with Sholing was a 2-0 FA Trophy victory at Twerton in December 2019, where Ryan Brunt scored. Now serving as Malvern Town’s Player Director of Football, Brunt may face his former club twice early in the season, as Malvern Town is the only team Bath plays twice within the opening 15 matches.

The league campaign concludes on April 17, 2027, with an away fixture at Chertsey Town. The final home game comes a week earlier against Bracknell Town, a side previously only met in the FA Trophy.

If Bath City finishes between second and seventh place, they will contest the play-offs scheduled between April 20 and May 4, offering another chance to push for promotion.
