Bath City Farm is gearing up to celebrate its 30th anniversary with a joyful festival that honors three decades of community engagement. Scheduled for Saturday, July 5, from noon to 6 pm, Bath City Farm Fest invites visitors to enjoy a day brimming with live music, creative workshops, hands-on activities, and delicious food—all set within the farm’s charming grounds.
The festival will highlight the farm’s rich history and ongoing mission through performances by local talents such as David Newman, Around About Dusk, Grrrls Aloud, Fiddle and Strum, and Gas Giants, featuring Will Gregory from Goldfrapp. Attendees can participate in a variety of workshops, including growing perennial vegetables, singing, needle felting, and crafting using natural materials.
Families will find plenty to delight their children, from face painting and farm games to a nature trail and animal interactions. Theatre enthusiasts can immerse themselves in an interactive production by Kilter Theatre, adding a creative spark to the celebration.

Food lovers will enjoy offerings from the Roots to Work Café, with a selection of BBQ fare and vegetarian curries prepared by the Community Kitchen. Refreshments will be served at the new Hay Barn bar, operated in partnership with Electric Bear Brewery.
A special Memory Area will provide guests the opportunity to share stories and memories connected to the farm, fostering a sense of community and reflection.
Brendan Tate Wistreich, farm director, expressed his enthusiasm: “Farm Fest is not only a celebration of our 30 years of charity work but also a chance to reaffirm our commitment to education, sustainability, and creating a welcoming community space.”
Clarita Floyd-Sanchez, events coordinator, emphasized accessibility: “With tickets priced on a pay-what-you-feel basis, everyone can join the festivities regardless of budget, and proceeds will support the farm’s ongoing projects and operations.”
Bath City Farm Fest will take place at Kelston View, Bath, BA2 1NW. Tickets are available at bathcityfarm.org.uk/events.
