Bath City Farm, a cherished 37-acre charity nestled in Whiteway, Bath, is celebrating its 30th anniversary by launching a £30,000 fundraising appeal to safeguard its future. Since opening in 1995, the farm has played a crucial role in enhancing the health, wellbeing, and education of over 1,300 local individuals annually through its therapeutic and vocational programmes.
To mark this significant milestone, the farm aims to raise £1,000 for each year of its existence, ensuring vital community services continue despite rising operational costs. Brendan, the Farm Director, emphasized the urgent need for support: “For three decades, Bath City Farm has profoundly impacted countless lives. However, we now face unprecedented financial challenges. We are committed to maintaining our community services, but we need your help. Please consider donating to sustain our work for the next 30 years.”
Bath City Farm has always remained free to visit and offers a variety of nature-based programmes designed to assist children, young people, and adults facing various challenges. These initiatives promote mental health, skill development, and social inclusion, making the farm a lifeline for many in the community.
