Barnstorming Young Forward Kepu Tuipulotu Signs Two-Year Extension with Bath Rugby

Bath Rugby has secured one of its most promising young talents, hooker Kepu Tuipulotu, with a new two-year contract extension that will keep him at The Rec until 2028. Since joining the Bath Academy ahead of the 2024/25 season, Tuipulotu has rapidly progressed, making his senior debut and earning international recognition with England A.

In addition to 21 senior appearances for Bath, Tuipulotu has gained valuable experience with his first European outing in the Investec Champions Cup. His explosive playing style—impactful both offensively and defensively—has caught the eye of Bath’s head of rugby, Johann van Graan.

“It’s been incredible to witness Kepu’s development over the past few years,” said van Graan. “Not only is he dynamic in attack and solid in defence, but he’s also grown as a leader, captaining the England U20 team. Kepu is part of the Bath family, and we are confident he will continue to perform at a champion level in the years ahead.”

Tuipulotu now faces the challenge of cementing a regular starting position within a highly competitive Bath front row, where seasoned player Tom Dunn and recent signing Dan Frost provide strong competition.

Reflecting on his new deal, Tuipulotu shared, “Renewing my contract with Bath means so much to me and my family. Joining straight from school was surreal, and over these two years I’ve grown tremendously. Playing at The Rec has been an amazing experience—I’ve truly made Bath my home.”
