An Audi A4 was subjected to vandalism involving toothpaste, petroleum jelly, and offensive messages while parked at the popular beauty spot Cheddar Gorge in Somerset. The incident occurred around 2.30pm on Saturday, 22 August, according to Avon and Somerset Police.
The blue vehicle was covered in what appears to be toothpaste and petroleum jelly, and offensive graffiti was left on the car. Police have launched investigations and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
Authorities have also expressed an interest in speaking to the owner of a red Ford Fiesta that was parked opposite the vandalised Audi prior to the attack. Members of the public who can assist are encouraged to complete an online appeals form or call 101, quoting reference number 5226237398.
