Jon (aged 54)
Tragically passed away on 26 March 2026 in Canada. Formerly of Chilthorne Domer, Jon was a beloved husband to Renee, devoted father to Celeste and Joel, cherished son to Nigel and Janet, and treasured brother and brother-in-law to Christine and Phil. Having emigrated to Canada in 1996 for work, Jon’s funeral will be held on 11 April in Canada and streamed online. Jean Bennie (aged 86)
Of Somerton, passed peacefully on 21 March 2026. Jean was a dearly loved mother to Karen, mother-in-law to Trevor, grandmother to Matt and Charlotte, and great-grandmother to Reggie, Walter, and Stanley. Her funeral service will be held on 15 April at Yeovil Crematorium. The family kindly request donations to Alzheimer’s Research UK and Breast Cancer Now UK in lieu of flowers. Passed away on 15 March 2026 at home surrounded by family. Much-loved husband to Claire, father to Richard and Daniel, and dear brother to Glynis, Jill, and the late Patsy.
