Adam Peaty’s Mother Vows Never to Be Hurt Again After Wedding Snub

Adam Peaty’s mother, Caroline, has been left devastated after being excluded from her son’s wedding to Holly Ramsay. The ceremony, held on December 27 at a historic venue, was overshadowed by a deeply personal family feud that led to the uninviting of close relatives, leaving Caroline to sit alone more than 130 miles away.

Only Adam’s sister Bethany appeared to support him on the day. Caroline described the pain as if “they have cut my heart out,” revealing her anguish on the eve of the wedding. Despite her absence, the couple exchanged vows in front of a star-studded crowd that included David and Victoria Beckham and Dan Walker.

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed celebrations at Kin House, a Georgian manor near Chippenham, while Caroline stayed home in Staffordshire, overwhelmed by grief at missing the joyful event. Speaking from the council house where Adam grew up, the 59-year-old vowed, “I’m not going to be hurt like this again.”

The family tension traces back to September 2024, when Adam and Holly excluded wider family members from their engagement party. Caroline was also excluded from Holly’s hen party at Soho Farmhouse, although the bride’s mother, Tana Ramsay, and several friends, including Victoria Beckham, attended.

Despite the rift, Caroline sent Adam a birthday card and gift on his 31st birthday. Meanwhile, Adam’s aunt Louise expressed her disapproval publicly, sending him a searing text before the wedding: “I hope you never suffer the depth of pain you have put your mother through and despite it all she loves you still. Shame on you both. Shame. Remember on this, your happiest day, and on each anniversary of your happiest day, that you hurt your mum so deeply her soul screams.”
