Access Creative College Launches T-Level Course for Content Creation

Access Creative College is introducing one of the UK’s first T-Level courses in content creation, offering aspiring digital media professionals in the South West a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the industry. This two-year level 3 qualification integrates classroom learning with practical experience, including a substantial industry placement component covering various media platforms such as video, print, online, and social media.

The initiative is part of Access Creative College’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of digital media talents in the city. Launched through the Bristol Academy of Visual Arts (AVA), the course has already attracted significant interest from potential students. Head of the Bristol campus, Jon Domaille, expressed enthusiasm about the new program, emphasizing the importance of providing students with top-notch education to prepare them for the dynamic world of creative industries.

Since its inception, AVA has witnessed a surge in interest, with applications for film, video, and photography courses rising by 12 per cent and acceptances increasing by 32 per cent. Notable highlights of the program include hands-on experience in a green screen suite facilitated by a collaboration with professional film and animation studio Sons of Graham. The partnership has proven to be mutually beneficial, with Sons of Graham valuing the opportunity to impart practical knowledge and guidance to the students.

The positive feedback received from both students and businesses reinforces the Academy’s mission of providing students with a strong foundation for their careers.

Applications for the new T-Level are currently open, with interested students able to register for a taster workshop on Wednesday, May 28, from 1pm to 3pm. For further information or to apply, visit the Access Creative College course page.
