A35 Sugar Hill Closed for Hours Following Lorry Overturn

Early Friday morning, an overturned lorry has caused the closure of the A35 between Bere Regis and the junction to Sugar Hill Road. Firefighters from Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service responded promptly to the incident.

The overturned heavy goods vehicle (HGV) has prompted authorities to shut the busy road, which is expected to remain closed for several hours while recovery operations are carried out. Drivers are advised to seek alternative routes to avoid delays.

National Highways is assisting the fire and rescue teams in the recovery process to clear the obstruction as quickly and safely as possible.
