A35 Sugar Hill Closed for Hours After Lorry Overturns

An overturned lorry has forced the closure of the A35 early Friday morning, with emergency services working on-site. Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service responded promptly to the incident on February 27, closing the road between Bere Regis and the junction to Sugar Hill Road.

Firefighters are actively managing the scene, and National Highways is assisting with the recovery operations. Authorities warn that the road is expected to remain closed for several hours while the overturned vehicle is cleared.

A spokesman for Dorset & Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service advised drivers to seek alternative routes due to the prolonged closure. Commuters are urged to plan accordingly as recovery work continues.
