A 21-year-old man, Alfie Miller of Willow Drive in Durrington, has been charged with murder following the death of Darren Hughes, 52, in Longhedge near Salisbury on Saturday, March 3. Darren Hughes was found deceased inside a property in Davies Road, Longhedge.
Miller has been remanded in custody and is scheduled to appear at Swindon Magistrates' Court today. The family of the deceased is receiving support from specialist officers, and their privacy is requested to be respected during this difficult time.
Wiltshire Police have removed the cordons around the property, but a continued police presence will remain in Longhedge for several days.
